Insert/Hyperlink
Creates an HTML hyperlink (remember the <a> anchor tag in HTML) in your
web page:
Two ways:
- Do Insert/Hyperlink, enter URL or file and it will appear as typed, e.g. http://www.amazon.com
- Select text that you've already typed and then hit Insert/Hyperlink. Your
text is unchanged, but the link to the site you specified is there: North
Central College
FrontPage is also smart enough to recognize:
- Something that starts with "www" and ends in ".com" is
automatically turned into a hyperlink.
- Also works with other major domain suffixes: .edu, .gov. org
- Same with email... if your text includes a "@" and ends in .com
