CSC 457 Homework 1

We’re using the wiki technology, so your first assignment is to add to the grand-daddy of all wikis, Wikipedia. I have to admit that I stole this assignment from a cool open source course at Oregon State. So, please use the instructions at: http://classes.engr.oregonstate.edu/eecs/winter2007/cs419-002/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WikipediaHomework

You don’t have to write-up anything about your experience (as the Oregon State guys do). Let’s try two things:

  1. Post a blurb about your experience here on our wiki
  2. I’ll ask you to show the group your contribution in lecture

PS - You can see my (one sentence) addition to Wikipedia at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_Conference_of_Illinois_and_Wisconsin I added the snippet about my buddy Chris being the commissioner of the conference. Actually, I guess I’ll cross my fingers and hope it’s still there.
