FROM WALLA WALLA WE HAVE TO SAY IT WAS STRUGGLE THIS SEASON AFTER WE MADE BIG MISTAKE IN THE FOUR ROUND. KUAME JUST WAS NOT RIGHT CHOOSE IT TURNS OUT OUR BEST PLAYER WAS LUCK....

AFTER THE SEASON WE WILL FIRE THE GM FOR THAT FOUR ROUND CHOICE HAHA. WE FULFILLED OUR DREAM SEASON AND WILL GET NAME ON TROPHY. WE ENJOY THE SEASON, AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF WE CAN KEEP NOWITZKI.

ITS A GOOD THING THE WEEKEND IS COMING FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP PARTY WILL KICK IN TO HIGH GEAR. WE WILL LET THE WOMEN TAKE A BREAK FROM WASHING THE TRUCK AND SLOPPING THE HOGS. FANS WILL GET A CHANCE TO MEET THE NEW GM AND THE FLOP OF THE DRAFT KUAME WHO HAS FLOWN IN TRYING TO GET NEW CONTRACT( NO CHANCE).

Well I am happy to see a season completed --- I am also happy to note that M. Jesse Jackson two months ago predicted Walla Walla would win the NIBL championship. Recall:

"My predictions: Vegas loses to ARUBA, Walla Walla over Cancun

Walla Walla over Aruba...."

Sorry about the sixth failure in a row -- cant win em all -- or, in your case, any of them....there's next year, though...

A little off...but I think that M. Jesse has now earned the title of "M. JESSE THE GREEK: THE NIBL SWAMI"

Let me know -- I might send a representative to the draft from the West Coast to field the Los Angeles GNABOs next year.

Excellent.

The Bailey Boys last visited the Nibl finals in our inaugural year. Walla lost in a 3 game thriller to Manila, largely on the back of DogEater Detlef Shrempf's 44 nibl performance.

That was then.

Now, in year 6, Walla swept to their first title in a 2-0 sweep over regular season bullies Vegas Vermin. Vegas had beaten no only Walla during the regular season, but every Western Conference opponent they faced. The late first round losses of T-Mac and Bonzi changed that calculus. Here's the nibl production for the Nibl 2003 Finals:

Walla's Dallas connection of Dirk and Nick matched the nibl output of the entire depleted Vegas squad at 150 nibls for the series. On draft day, I heard (and may even have uttered) more than a couple "tee-hees" when Walla selected Dirk Nowitzki with the 4th pick... ahead of the likes of Kobe, T-Mac, C-Web, AI...

It needn't be said... Walla had the last laugh on that one.
