Champion! — Congrats to Ryan Martin and the Butler Jets, your 2022 Payton34 champion.

Butler was dominant in 2022...rolling the champion's "triple crown":

1. Best regular season record (11-3)
2. Most points scored (1396, just under 100 points per game)
3. Won the championship in the playoffs (beating Springfield and Hoffman)

Congrats to Ryan on his first Payton34 title. Huzzah!

Finals — Top dog Butler hosts #3 Hoffman for a fantasy cage match for the ages. The winner takes home all the P34 marbles, baby. Cha!

Semifinals — The BIG kids are back from their bye week, and the semis are ON. Winners advance to the championship game.

Semifinal games are:

• Butler Jet 95, Springfield Atom 80   [ boxscore ]
• Hoffman Hillbilly 120, KGG 2022 69   [ boxscore ]

#1 Butler needed some sugar to defeat Springfield. Enter Cam Akers...for the win! (what, what what?!) The wayward Ram RB scored 31 points and had the game of his (young) career.

Put it on the board...Butler advances and will face Hoffman in the Championship round.

Quarterfinals — #1 Butler and #2 KGG are gone fishin' with the bye week.

Quarterfinal matchups are:

• Springfield Atom 92, Arizona Mini Teeth 83   [ boxscore ]
• Hoffman Hillbilly 103, Hood Court Hooligan 55   [ boxscore ]

Springfield star, QB Trevor Lawrence, led all playoff scorers with 40 points and propelled The Atoms to victory. Trevor (and his hair) travel to Butler this week for a semifinal game against the top-ranked Butler Jets.
