The last 4 rounds of the draft sure felt like work this year. Maybe I'm getting old. Maybe we've done to many draft. Maybe rocking for nearly 4 hours is tough tough tough.
Here are some ideas on fixing things:
- Take a week - Draft rounds 1-14 at The Castle. Then, draft rounds 15-20 on Yahoo, over the next week. Each team could pick on player per day. We could even say that the top half of the draft (teams 1-7) can make their pick in the morning, and the bottom teams (teams 8-14) pick after noon.
- Chatroom - Draft online using a chatroom like Chatzy. Then, after the draft meet somewhere to watch a ballgame.
- Lunch! - We could take a long lunch break halfway through the draft, so everyone can re-charge their batteries.
We'll figure it out next year.
