Well, LetsPlay3 in 2022 was a lot of fun. This season marked our return to head-to-head competition. I think MLB had a surprisingly good/interesting year as well, and that helps.
Naperville, the friendly Death Star™, was our champion this year. It's the wealthy suburb's sixth LP3 title.
Quickly, here's the title breakdown over 16 years of fantasy baseball: Naperville Bill 6, KGG Chris 4, Boston Ed 2, Vatican Eric 2, San Antonio TY 1, Mini Justin 1.

Quarterfinal round
The BIG boys have a bye week: #1 Naperville, #2 Kelly Green Guy.
That leaves the mad dogs to battle for a spot in the semis next week. Ruf!
Note: CRYO TED wins the tiebreaker based on 6-4 regular season advantage over the Beard.

Our Yahoo website has some cool stats too. But they're kind of tough to find and are only on the website, not mobile/cellphone. First, goto the main page (League/Overview). Then, look for a spinner above the Standings. Switch from "Current standings" to "Head-to-head stats". That should do it. Now just absorb the goodness and exclaim, "Eureka!"

Opening day
The regular season started yesterday, Thu Apr 7. Huzzah to that!
Here's some opening day sugar:
- Savant deity, Tyler O'Neil (stl) of the Southern Rocket, blasted the first home run that I saw this season, mlb video.
- Pete Alonso (nym), Naperville's 2nd round pick, was hit in the face with a fastball. As ex-Bear coach Dave Wannstedt would say, "He'll be fine". They have some pretty gnarly (um, cool) pictures here, nypost story.

The draft went off without a hitch. (woot woot)
The whole thing lasted about 2 hours. We rolled for 20 rounds. I paused for 1 minute after each round, and we had a 5 minute break at the halfway point. I had 2 cups of coffee.
